Today, and throughout June, the National Coalition for LGBTQ Health is celebrating and supporting our amazing community by uplifting LGBTQ health. However, we continue to witness LGBTQ rights and healthcare access under attack across the United States. The need for education, advocacy, and community connection has never been more urgent. The Coalition works to close gaps in care, elevate LGBTQ voices, and ensure providers have the tools to deliver affirming, evidence-based healthcare.

“The Q” HealthLGBTQ National Training Center provides expert-led trainings, clinical education resources, and practical tools that help providers deliver culturally responsive care to LGBTQ individuals. Your donation will support the development of new trainings and expansion of existing trainings covering topics such as the unique healthcare needs of LGBTQ patients, gender-affirming care, aging in the LGBTQ community, mental wellness, alcohol and substance use among LGBTQ patients, and more.

National LGBTQ Health Awareness Week, held each year in March, is a week of sustained, provocative action supporting improved health outcomes for LGBTQ people. With LGBTQ rights under attack in many states, the week is an especially crucial opportunity for providers, researchers, policymakers, advocates, and community members to defend progress and continue pushing for health equity. Your donation will support a variety of interactive and empowering activities during the Week, including educational webinars with expert faculty, engaging social media campaigns, and live podcasts featuring leading advocates with lived experience.

The State of LGBTQ Health™ National Survey gathers perspectives from healthcare providers serving LGBTQ communities across the country. The survey seeks perspectives on various topics integral to LGBTQ health, including HIV and STI prevention and treatment, gender affirming care, mental health and substance use, stigma, culturally responsive care, access and barriers to care, insurance coverage, workforce sustainability, and more. Your donation will help ensure that the Coalition can continue to field the survey, whose findings directly shape new trainings and educational resources.
