
“The Q” HealthLGBTQ National Training Center is an offering of the National Coalition for LGBTQ Health dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of healthcare and support services providers to deliver patient-affirming, whole-person care to LGBTQ patients. The Q advances LGBTQ health equity by supporting providers to stay informed, culturally responsive, and prepared to address the unique health disparities affecting LGBTQ individuals.
The Q expands provider knowledge, skills, and competencies through: competency-based clinical medical education; expert-led live online training; clinical education resources and practice aids; and, in-person training events.
This self-paced, CME/CE-certified series is designed to equip providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician associates, pharmacists, social workers, nurses and allied health professionals) with practical strategies for LGBTQ-affirming HIV prevention, treatment, and care coordination. Participants will access five, 30-minute expert-led modules, clinical resources, and implementation tools to integrate best practices into their daily work.

This webinar aims to highlight the work in protecting communities in the current mpox emergency and the evolving situation, including the specific needs of the different affected communities and how those can be addressed.

LGBTQ Equity in HIV Prevention and Treatment Series, Module 2 of 5. This activity examines the structural and systemic barriers LGBTQ individuals face when accessing HIV prevention and care services. Participants will review evidence-based strategies for improving access, such as navigation support, inclusive care models, and approaches to address stigma, documentation, and insurance-related challenges.
Educational slides for peers regarding key mpox topics. Community-based organizations are welcome to utilize these slides for outreach purposes.
