The National Coalition for LGBTQ Health, along with HealthHIV houses an internal research and evaluation function unique to HIV nonprofits.
Our approach is to advance effective prevention, care, and treatment for people in the LGBTQ community through the use of original, unique data analysis and evaluation methods.
State of LGBTQ Health™ National Surveys
These “State Of” surveys provide unique insight into patient and provider issues in order to optimize primary and support services for diverse communities. The regular reports offer the ability to study multi-year trend analyses illustrating changes, challenges, and opportunities to address the needs of providers and patients.
Second Annual State of LGBTQ Health™ National Survey
The Second Annual State of LGBTQ Health™ National Survey engaged 1,023 diverse and representative healthcare providers, spanning a broad spectrum of racial, ethnic, and sexual identities and hailing from various geographic, educational, and income backgrounds. The demographics of the survey participants closely mirror the current composition of healthcare professionals in the United States.
Inaugural State of LGBTQ Health™ National Survey
The National Coalition for LGBTQ Health administered the Inaugural State of LGBTQ Health™ National Survey to identify the “state of” healthcare needs for LGBTQ+ communities. The survey’s insights will be used to optimize the education and training of the LGBTQ healthcare workforce, and to better inform LGBTQ+ health advocacy, education, research, and training activities.
