National Coalition for LGBTQ Health Strongly Opposes Texas AG Ken Paxton’s Dangerous Attack on the Health of LGBTQ Young People

This week, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton issued a statement saying the City of Austin Independent School District’s Pride Week, as part of the 20th Annual National LGBTQ Health Awareness Week, is “breaking state law.” National LGBTQ Health Awareness Week, created and hosted by the National Coalition for LGBTQ Health along with its nearly 600 partner organizations, is focused on raising awareness of mental health, transgender health, and ending stigma for LGBTQ+ communities.
