Navigating HIV Resistance in 2025: Modern Strategies for Clinicians to Optimize ART Decisions

Navigating HIV Resistance in 2025: Modern Strategies for Clinicians to Optimize ART Decisions

As part of World AIDS Day 2025 programming, HealthHIV and the National Coalition for LGBTQ Health invite you to a live, case‑based webinar on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 1:00pm Eastern.

Join expert faculty for an interactive discussion focused on real‑world decision making for antiretroviral therapy (ART). Through case examples, we will explore common scenarios: factoring resistance into initial ART choice for treatment‑naïve patients, pre‑switch assessment for virally suppressed patients considering a regimen change, and how prior PrEP use affects subsequent ART selection. This webinar will equip clinicians with practical knowledge and tools to assess and manage ART resistance in today’s evolving clinical landscape.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Describe the mechanisms of HIV resistance development.
  • Apply strategies to assess and manage treatment-naïve patients.
  • Confidently navigate regimen switches in patients with viral suppression.
  • Review emerging therapies and future directions in ART.

This webinar is supported by ViiV. Please note that continuing education credits are not available for this webinar.
