“The Q” HealthLGBTQ National Training Center is an offering of the National Coalition for LGBTQ Health dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of healthcare and support services providers to deliver patient-affirming, whole-person care to LGBTQ patients. The Q advances LGBTQ health equity by supporting providers to stay informed, culturally responsive, and prepared to address the unique health disparities affecting LGBTQ individuals.
The Q expands provider knowledge, skills, and competencies through: competency-based clinical medical education; expert-led live online training; clinical education resources and practice aids; and, in-person training events.
This self-paced, CME/CE-certified series is designed to equip providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician associates, pharmacists, social workers, nurses and allied health professionals) with practical strategies for LGBTQ-affirming HIV prevention, treatment, and care coordination. Participants will access five, 30-minute expert-led modules, clinical resources, and implementation tools to integrate best practices into their daily work.
